Nemø ensemble immerses you in their pool of sound with brand new work by Elena Rykova, Pak Yan Lau and Joel Cahen.
And for once, you can take that “sound bath” literally. From the ticket office through the changing rooms – where you put on your swimsuit – to and around the pool, Elena Rykova immerses you in the many dimensions of sound above and below the water in her characteristic fairy tales. In Pak Yan Lau's utopian underwater music, sounds dissolve into a dreamy, fluid subconscious, where nothing is absurd anymore. At the same time, Joel Cahen brings us back to (sur)reality. His penetrating soundscape confronts the listener with human noise pollution in the oceans: a muffled cry for quieter seas.
