My bachelors were in Barcelona
and my masters in Ghent and Antwerp
Other projects:
I am the piccolo solo at the
Wrocław Philharmonic Orchestra in Poland
and besides I collaborate with composers
in Belgium, The Netherlands, Hungary,
Turkey, Poland.. and I have my own solo
project d.e.a.f.
What is your purpose in music?
What motivates you?
Music/sonic arts are my meraki.
I simply cannot imagine myself
without it.
What are your hobbies
and passions besides music?
I love diving, bouldering, sporting,
reading and keep learning, specially
philosophy and languages.
Which other genres do you play
or listen to and how do you
incorporate them in your
contemporary music practice?
I like the versatility of playingfrom
the classics of symphonic orchestra
to performative (post-instrumental)
creations. About listening, I must
admit.. slow techno and baroque :)
What is your most cherished
Nemø anecdote?
I cherish the family we manage
to build and specially our time in
Darmstadt.
Which book are you taking
with you on a longer trip?
Malin Kundera: the unbearable
lightness of the being and Herman
Hesse: The steppenwolf
