I have a solo project (Ben Bertrand)
for which one I compose for bass clarinet,

What is your purpose in music?
What motivates you?
My purpose in music, is to show
that our lives are more than our
daily troubles
What are your hobbies
and passions besides music?
I have no other passion than music
Which other genres do you play
or listen to and how do you incor-
porate them in your contemporary
music practice?
I play with electronic and I compose
music that sits between classical music,
contemporary music, experimental
music and electronic music
What is your most cherished
Nemø anecdote or memory?
My best remembering with Nemø
is the concert we did in Darmstadt
for Vladimir Gorlinsky
Which book are you taking
with you on a longer trip?
There are so many books to take
for a long trip : a Philip K Dick book,
a novel of Umberto Eco, a Zen book,
a book that analyses the work of a
composer, ....
